PUBLIC TRANSPORT DIRECTIONS

We are easily reached by coach or bus to our nearest town, Carmarthen.
From there you can either take a taxi, or the 227 bus.

CAR DIRECTIONS
FROM M4 DIRECTION (Bristol, Cardiff, Swansea etc.)

Follow the M4 west through South Wales until it eventually becomes the A48 (dual carriageway) just beyond Swansea.

Follow this until you reach Carmarthen.

Once in Carmarthen or just along the ring-road, follow signs for A40 (St Clears). You will see the B&Q DIY warehouse on your left as you get onto the A40.

Continue along this dual carriageway for a quarter of a mile and take the first exit signed JOHNSTOWN & LLANSTEFFAN.

Turn right at the T junction for Llansteffan. Follow the B4312 road for about 7 miles to the village of Llansteffan.

Continue to the centre of the village, past the village shop, then the post office and then past the STICKS HOTEL on your right.

Count 4 houses on the right past the Sticks Hotel and turn right into the NARROW driveway between two houses (opposite church tower) and continue to the top. Heartspring is the big pink house at the top.

NOTE FOR THOSE COMING BY TAXI:
Just tell the taxi-driver that you are going to Hill House Llansteffan in the middle of the village, and if they do not know the house, just give them these directions, highlighting the paragraphs marked above.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR DRIVEWAY IS VERY NARROW AND STEEP IN PLACES. ON EXTREMELY RARE OCCASIONS, SOME MODERN 'SPORTY' CARS OR THOSE WITH VERY LONG FRONT ENDS OR LOW SPOILERS DO SOMETIMES HAVE DIFFICULTY EXITING OUR DRIVEWAY WITHOUT POSSIBLE MINOR SCRATCHING THE UNDERSIDE OF THE SPOILER ON THE ROAD.

If you think this may affect you, please do not come up the drive in your vehicle, park on the road side and walk up, (it is not very far), and we will collect your luggage in one of our vehicles, and show you the best place to move your vehicle to park. If for some reason you do get stuck, do not panic as we generally can get people out slowly without problems.
