A beautiful building built in 1865 and lovingly restored in 1998-1999 with an emphasis on the use of healthy and environmentally friendly toxic-free materials such as lime washes, natural varnishes and solar panels. The Retreat Centre is uncluttered and simply furnished with natural fabrics and carpets.

We provide a comfortable, airy, light, clean, toxin-free environment with the emphasis on creating caring and supportive retreats rather than a high luxury impersonal place. We feel we add a far more important element - a genuine caring and loving atmosphere where you can be nurtured not just physically but emotionally too. A place to feed your soul!
Within our building we have 3 self-contained Retreat Apartments (one can sleep up to 5 and the others can sleep up to 3 or 4) and single, double and twin bedrooms. We also have our own pure spring water for both drinking and bathing and have central heating throughout.
Heartspring is for peaceful nature-based retreats, so there is no television (there is no signal available either!). We welcome quiet children.

Please note that Heartspring has quiet residential children and cats, but obviously they do not have access to any of the bedrooms or Retreat Apartments!!
