There are locally many walks in varied landscapes - cliffs, sand dunes, salt marshes, woodlands and coastal paths etc. The house is only a 5 minute walk away from the local beach and a further 10 minutes away you are likely to be only in the company of wildlife.
The house receives long hours of sunlight due to its elevated south facing position; it lies in the coastal sunshine belt.
Beyond the castle headland there is the beautiful secluded Scott's Bay and further on the National Trust coast line of Wharley Point from which there are wonderful views across Carmarthen Bay towards the Gower Peninsula.
